Emigration from Czechoslovakia - how to teach about this topic

The submitted diploma thesis is focused on the life and activities of the Czech-Roman theologian, Catholic priest and pedagogue, Karel Skalický. A man who, to pursue his desire for the priesthood went as far as to illegally cross the state border to get to Austria and to Italy. Therefore, refugees and their inclusion in the issue of international migration have become one of the topics of this work. The history and causes of migration are discussed in a greater context. Last part of the thesis is devoted to selected methods of interactive teaching and material based on them. This material can be used in teaching the 112 topic of refugees in Citizenship classes at the second stage of primary school. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical part, deals with concepts related to refugees and migration. More attention was paid to the plight of refugees after 1948 with greater emphasis on the situation in the church. Furthermore, the work points out the reasons for the escape of emigrants and some personalities who left their homeland. The presented figures and graphs draw attention to the development of emigration, migration losses and show who are asylum seekers in the countries of the European Union. TITLE: Use of illustration in Russian language teaching. ABSTRACT: The aim of the thesis is the illustration, using the principle of clarity in the teaching of foreign languages and an analysis of interactive textbook for Russian Raduga po-novomu 1 in comparison with its printed form. The basis of the work creates the monitoring of progress of the concept of clarity, the using of visual aids and different teaching methods from J. A. Comenius to the present, when we have a modern education technique at the disposal, which allows the application of the principle of illustration in all its forms. The survey questionnaire form is designed to measure the level of popularity of modern teaching techniques for visual teaching. Possibilities of the Interactive Whiteboard Use at the Lessons of Music at the First Grade of Elementary Schools

v anglickém jazyce: This Diploma thesis aim is to describe the issue of the interactive whiteboard use, as well as its advantages and disadvantages at the lessons of Music. The goal of the Theoretical part is to cover the history of the interactive whiteboard application, the main types of boards, their characteristics, programmes, available learning programmes etc. The Practical part offers several personal examples of the work with the interactive board proven to be successful in my educational music practice. A research of the use of the interactive whiteboard by the primary teachers at a chosen sample of elementary schools will also be included.
Interactive Whiteboard and its Possibilities of Usage in the Primary Education

The thesis examines the use of the interactive whiteboard in the lower primary schools since the interactive whiteboard is a commonly used teaching aid nowadays. Based on references to literature and an empirical study, the thesis aims to describe the various possibilities of the efficient usage of the interactive whiteboard in education. The theoretical part opens with the description of information and communication technologies in general and the usage of the interactive whiteboard in the classroom. It focuses on its advantages and disadvantages, lists examples of its features available, and closes with an illustration of interactive teaching. It also introduces SMART Notebook collaborative learning software and describes its features. The empirical part employs both the quantitative and the qualitative research. The quantitative part is based on a questionnaire aimed at teachers at lower primary schools and investigates how the teachers use the interactive whiteboard in their classrooms. The qualitative part is devoted to a set of interactive materials designed for the subjects Czech language and Maths, which were subsequently tested in the third grade of a lower primary school.
Actual trends in interactive learning in higher secondary education

The diploma thesis maps interactive teaching in high school as a actual phenomenon. The aim of the thesis is to understand the current situation within the interactive teaching and to introduce possibilities how to realize the teaching with the elements of interactivity. The theoretical part describes various views of interactivity and its wildcards. This results in the characteristic elements of interactive teaching and the benefits that interactive teaching brings. The thesis also introduces current digital technologies that can be used in school education. It specifies what the specific technologies can be used for, what their advantages and disadvantages are. In the empirical part, the thesis examines one secondary school in Prague Hostivař for a closer understanding of the current situation of interactive teaching. This is done by using a questionnaire survey. The part of the empirical part is the design and implementation of teaching activities using interactivity, which are based on the theoretical basis and information found by the research. Fenomén uprchlictví a možnosti jeho využití v interaktivní výuce

The submitted diploma thesis is focused on the refugee phenomenon and its classification among international migration issues as such, while the interest is focused mainly on immigration from third-world countries into European Union, accenting the Czech Republic. In this context, causes of growing tendency in international protection applicant and economic migrant numbers, but also responses caused by this fact, are being discussed. To enable a closer look at the multi-ethnic co-habitation character, there is secondary empirical data outlining the current situation of the majority´s relationship towards the ethnic and national plurality with regard to migration crisis given on the one hand, and determinants influencing the creation of different citizen attitudes on the other hand. Last but not least, there is some space left for chosen interactive education methods and didactic material based on them, which is useful when teaching about the controversial refugee issue in lessons of Civics.
